My Education and Training

I graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in 1979 and I spent 12 years in law enforcement. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, two master’s degrees in psychology and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. I am a former crisis worker, a former social worker, and I worked for 2 years on a psychiatric unity in a maximum security prison. I am an instructor at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, a former instructor for the Maine Department of Corrections and I teach psychology courses at Southern New Hampshire University and Southern Maine Community College.
